Could not have stayed at a better place. Location was excellent, close to everything but no noise and felt extremely safe. Stayed in a small suite which I would definitely recommend. Reception staff were friendly & helpful, room was very clean. No restaurant, breakfast served in rooms. Would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended.

New Orleans can overwhelm me with its constant party atmosphere, and Soniat House is a gracious breath of fresh air. Our suite was lovely, and the location could not have been more convenient for us as we enjoyed walking and exploring the city.

This is our third stay at Soniat House, the first was 21 years ago. The service, ambience, decor, location is everything one could want for a quiet, romantic bed and breakfast stay in NOLA. The morning coffe and made to order biscuits are perfect to start the day. Rooms are luxurious, spacious suites. Excellent locations n in the French Quarter.with secure of street parking. Once here, you can walk to everything in the Quarter. Highly recommend as it is much more intimate than a large hotel,

Room Tip: all the rooms are wonderful.

Heaven from start to finish. Classic and well done Southern fare, a LOVELY staff, a beautiful building full of history and charm but that doesn't feel old or stuffy, great amenities, very comfortable, a stunning botanical courtyard garden right out of a Hemingway novel and in the perfect location (even though it's in the FQ, you feel like a local rather than a tourist). My favorite part is the honor bar in the parlor where you can serve yourself amongst the decadent decor from morning to night. All in all it feels as though you've wandered into a wonderful Southern dream. When can I move in?

Room Tip: Pick a room on the top floor with a balcony for more sun!

This historic hotel is located on the fringe of the action and within walking distance of many restaurants, the French Market, and shops. Yet, it is so quiet, it feels worlds away. We stayed in the building where the office is located in #16. It was a very roomy suite and very quiet. The courtyard is lovely and you can have breakfast there if the weather is tolerable. The waterfall is a lovely touch. The "lobby" is a small sitting area with a self serve bar.

The bathroom was very well appointed with magnifying mirror, great lighting, large marble shower (no tub) and nice toiletries. There was a large closet and bureau for clothes. Exceptionally clean!

The staff were all wonderful and very accommodating. Be sure to go to the second floor to the balcony that overlooks Chartres St. to enjoy your drink and the view and sounds of the city.

We are so pleased that you made the effort to write such a glowing review. We really appreciate it. Please come back and see us soon and often. If you prefer a suite with a tub just mention it next time you book. 17 of our 20 suites do have tubs with showers.
