The hotel was nice and the rooms clean and beautiful, but the first Friday night we came back to the hotel and there were two guys in our room "fixing the cable". They had no uniforms on and just ran out of there. Our chocolate was missing off our bed too. We remember that because we got there that day and the bed was untouched. We were never made aware that these individuals were coming to our room nor did we care about cable... we were there for music, food, and nightlife... not to watch TV! Anyhow, my boyfriend realized he was missing one of his laptops (his personal PC which contained a ton of travel pictures) and his ipod when it was already too late at the airport! We had such a great time and unfortunately it was ruined at the end by this. This hotel has no cameras not even in the hallways. You like to think everyplace is safe, but there are horror stories about these kind of things happening in this area and unfortunayely it happened to us some good peoples just looking for a great getaway.

The hotel is quiite, staff is very friendly, and the room was very clean. It's located near a lot of attractions and mostly walking distance from the hotel. Best thing was it's right off Bourbon street.

We stayed at this French Quarter Hotel for five nights. It is a perfect location and much less noise than one would expect. The rooms were dated, but well kept. The only recommendation is a carpet replacement and a little deeper cleaning.
The staff couldn't be better trained or helpful. They are willing to help with anything you really need or are looking for. They never fail to greet you and see what is needed. The pool area is fabulous.

Room Tip: We liked being on the street with a balcony. The window to the balcony is a bit funky.

Yep, second time to the hotel and still happy. Was there last year for Southern Decadance and went again this year. Was happy with this hotel last year so booked again this year. Overall, great hotel. Excellent location, breakfast is good, rooms are good, staff are friendly and it is quiet for sleeping in.

Room Tip: Try for a room that faces away from the street.

The service here was just wonderful. Everyone was friendly, helpful and accommodating. All of the staff members greeted us, each time we returned to the hotel. Although this is obviously a historical place, they try to keep it clean and very well maintained. They use some type of machine in the lobby that keeps it smelling very fresh and clean when you step in and whatever they use to mop the floors smelled very good every time we stepped off the elevator. We loved the ice cold tea and lemon water and gingersnaps served in the lobby in the afternoons. It was very nice and refreshing after returning from walking through the quarter all day. The bed was heavenly. The mattress was so firm and and with the black out drapes, we both got the best rest we have had in a very long time. I felt like I was being cradled ! This place is close enough to the action but far enough away to not be overwhelming or too noisy. The female Bartender at May Baileys was very friendly too & she gave us directions to a nearby lounge where my Fiance could smoke his cigars he loves so much. One evening we sat outside by the pool for several hours in the very relaxing courtyard. The breakfast provided is just enough, sausage, grits, croissants, English muffins, waffles, toast, fruit, yogurt, cereal, juice, coffee, etc. The Breakfast lounge area is very nice with a TV and plenty of tables. My fiance & I are recently engaged we were in town for a few days planning our wedding to be held in New Orleans next year. We have rooms blocked here for our guests and are excited to have them stay in such a nice place. On our first night we returned to our extra large King room to find a bottle of champagne chilling compliments of the Hotel ! We truly enjoyed our stay.

This place was such a surprise. I purchased a deal on Priceline which included free parking, king bed, breakfast and two free drinks. All said, $150 included taxes too. The staff was super nice and the location couldn't be better. I recommend giving this hotel a go especially since they buy you a round of cocktails! Some guy getting off the elevator gave me 4 of his drink tickets. Bonus!
