If you like candied pecans, dark chocolate, smooth and rich ice creams and feel like splurging come here. If you don't feel like splurging, save up and come here.

A business trip popped up and meant a little time was available to go to Magazine Street. We had been here a year ago and this was again on our list of places to come back to. Well worth it. Another supply of candied pecans, dark chocolate and a very aromatic peppermint tea.

Already looking forward to next trip to New Orleans.

Comparing Sucré with those macaron shops I'ved tried in Paris (Ladurée, etc.) and Manhattan (Bouchon), it is OK. The inside is not quite as moist. I tried the vanilla, pistachio, strawberry and chocloate flavored macarons, all are average in taste.

This was a wonderful ice cream and chocolate shop with friendly but professional staff. We enjoyed ice cream sundaes and went back again for cake and tea and bought some chocolate to take home. Beautifully decorated.

Amazing ice creams - try the fresh mango! Their macaroons are so rich they are famous! Quite the treat on Magazine Street.

Finally got to visit here on my third trip to New Orleans. It is worth the venture if you're staying in the French Quarter. It's a cute little shop with friendly staff and quite a few sweets to choose from...macarons, chocolate, plated desserts, gelato. A bit on the pricier side, though. It was my first time trying macarons, and I think I may have been spoiled! The salted caramel is to die for! I finished my box of 8 faster than I should have...oops.
