“Garden District Divine!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 4, 2013 via mobile

We had lunch here after a Garden District tour. The paninis were freshly prepared and were delicious. The staff was very friendly and very helpful in giving us bus and travel information. We were able to sample several flavors of the gelatos before deciding which one we wanted.
This was a clean, restful and lovely light restaurant. We highly recommend this one and they definitely have bathrooms and they're clean too!

“Reputation precedes and overrates its actual value”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 27, 2013

Recently visited this place with my husband. The waitress was impolite. She was eating. That would be fine, I know she needs to eat some time. BUT when we asked something about the order she answered still half chewing her food. The food was OK (BLT and Verduras) but for that price, we definitely had higher expectations.
NO BATHROOM.

“Great gelato with sub-par service”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 9, 2013

Stopped in here for a quick snack. Bourbon pecan gelato was delicious, as was the cannoli. Little taken-back by the surly service though, especially since it wasn't busy at all. Really don't understand not having a restroom available for customers either.

“St Peter Street location”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 19, 2013 via mobile

Ate here last year on a tasting tour and had to come back this year. The muffalino panini my husband had was great. The pizza panini I got, not so much...it had a "twang" to it and I tried taking it apart to see if it was the sauce, cheese, or some other dressing that was put on first. Either way, I ended up throwing it out and getting a slice of pizza, which was good. Deferred on the gelato this time and went with a peanut butter cookie and the brownie pie. Both rich but good.
