I liked that there were places to shop and food places on this street. I dislike that their was a liquor store/check cashing place/etc. across the street from the hotel. However the people were very friendly.

Thank April J

Dozens of small shops specializing in antiques generally, but specifically everything from rare books to perfumes (I had a signature scent created) to clothes and jewelry. A range of prices and experiences with something for everyone!

Lovely street, typical Nawlins atmospheric sights and sounds, loved it. I think it was on this street that we saw and heard a female clarinettist and sax player with the most beautiful voice, accompanied by two other high calibre musicians.

Royal is the place to go.....Bourbon street is way to packed with a bunch of knuckleheads! Go one block over, there are plenty of shops to visit & there are some really good street performers there too. Plenty of restaurants & bars if you need them. Bourbon Street is ok to visit one or two times, but it's so crowded & has kids that are barely old enough to drink that are always acting like fools & looking for a fight.
