Lots of great architecture & fun shops. Truly a pleasure to walk up & down. Much more authentic & pleasurable than Bourbon Street.

Superb antique shops of the finest quality. Helpful assistants at all the shops we visited. Plan to spend at least one afternoon exploring the shops on Royal Street.

“Antique heaven”
Reviewed October 11, 2012

A number of shops along Royal street contain antiques ans object's du art. It's a great place for browsing, esppecially if you are shopping for that special addition to your home. The shop-keepers are friendly and helpful. It's a part of the French Quarter many visitors overlook.
