What a great way to get around the city! Ran quite frequently always heated and air conditioned and very well kept. What a deal ride 24hrs. for $3!

For $3 and an all day pass one of the best values in New Orleans. Take a trip on the Green line if you get lucky you might get Street car 907 with our driver on Tuesday November 13th around 10:30 am. He was the best. Better than any tour guide he was entertaining and engaged everyone in conversation. The right thru the garden district was very informative and he also gave suggestions of other must see and eat places that you RTA. The Red lines are just transportation so don' expect too much there.

$3 buys a ticket good for 24 hours. The cars can come in 5 mins or 20 mins but it’s a fun ride and an easy way to get to area like the French quarter and the Garden District.
I should add that the staff aren’t particularly helpful but the people on-board ALWAYS are. NOLA citizens have proved to be uniformly helpful and interesting. My biggest problem is finding the time to see all their suggestions!
Don’t take this if you’re in a time crunch because it may not come for 20 minutes but you will find the journey interesting!

Clang clang clang went the trolley. If you want to get a feel of NO then you have to ride a trolley. It is also one of the cheapest ways to get around and there are several lines. It is $1 a ride (40 cents if you are an OAP). A day pass (obtainable from the likes of Wallgreens) for all the RTA (including buses) is $3. Great value for money.

The street car journey to my restaurant in the Garden District was an inexpensive, quick, and enjoyable journey from my Canal Street hotel. I highly recommend one take the RTA streetcars.

A fun trip but crowded, I took the St. Charles line on a Saturday and it was as crowded as if it was a weekday. But it was the fastest way to get from my hotel to a museaum.

When it is raining, they need to put more cars on. It's a deal to get a day pass for $3 but too crowded.

This is the way to go. The street cars take you most places you want to go for a $3/24 hr. pass. You can see the graveyards, the old, beautiful homes along the route along with the outdoor market at the end of the line. Don’t miss riding this unique way to travel.

The title says it all. The cheapest nostalgic way of seeing the city, beautiful neighborhoods and restaurants. For a daily pass of $3 you can hop on and off all day visit 3 universities, lots of variety of neighborhoods and restaurants and parks. A must see. One car we had had annoying sound didn't know why, we thought it was a part of the trolly. But the next car did not have it. So if you have day pass you can change cars anytime. Frequent trips, at least every ten minutes a new car comes along.

Enjoyed the scenery during the ride. Only complaint is it began raining during the ride and they filled the car to above capacity. As many people standing in the aisle as were seated. It became very uncomfortable.
