Finally got to visit this park on our last visit and am so glad we did. It's a short cab ride from the french quarter but well worth it. It was nice to walk around the old oaks, and see the lovely park. It was definitely a break from the rather loud and hurried pace of the French Quarter. Would recommend this stop to those looking for a break from the usual stuff on Bourbon St.

We rode the trolley from downtown to the park. Half of our group did the museum and sculpture garden. The other group rented bikes and explored the park and nearby neighborhood .

What a place and we didn't even get to see a lot. They have a train that goes all around it but we didn't have time to ride. Its huge, would like to maybe visit it when we had more time.

The park has been beautifully renovated and improved upon following the disastrous hurricane. Great place for children of all ages.

I visited this park right before dusk and it was very nice to walk through. There are a couple enchanting parts along the water. There are several activities to do in the park. Plus the New Orleans Museum of Art is there and Morning Call Cafee, which has better beignets than Cafe Du Monde.

City park is a treat and a wonderful getaway from the hustle and bustle of downtown NOLA! My son loves playing in Storyland inside city park (probably enjoyed this almost as much as the zoo and aquarium!) :)

The Voodoo Festival was on the Sat I went to the Park, mainly to see the oaks, the Sculpture garden and the Art Gallery, so there were quite a few people walking to the festival ground. However, I got to see what I wanted and would definitely recommend visiting.

This is a beautiful hidden gem in the city of New Orleans. Bigger than central park. Great place to walk and see fantastic sculptures, botanical gardens and a Mother Goose park. A nice change of pace from hectic city center.

Best place hands down for family time. Always something happening here. Christmas is my favorite at City Park.
