“Nice Irish pub”
Reviewed June 25, 2012

Stopped in here to see the EURO 2012 matches.
Very friendly staff, great selection of beers and they have cider on tap!
Lots of TVs for sports watching.

Best Fn Irish pub in the world! That is their tag line and it is true! I love this place, the bar server is so wonderful and nice and friendly, we met others and chatted, great afternoon sitting and drinking and just enjoying eachother's company. I will go back to Ryans everytime I am in NOLA, best made drink I had while there malibu and cranberry, make it a double. Highly recommend, location is great as well.

“Great pub.. great bartenders..good prices..”
Reviewed February 22, 2012

Just got back from Mardi Gras. Ryan's is always a must for our group. We meet at the beginning of our day and formulate our plans and visit with old friends.. Then we come back in the afternoon prior to heading out for food and a rest in the hotel. They have great Bloody Mary's and better Hurricanes than Pat O'Brien's (not to talk bad about Pat Obrien's it is also a fun place). The ladies behind the bar are GREAT!!! We are regulars even though it's only a few times a year we get to New Orleans. Always recognized with great smile's and conversation. Love you guys. Remember the bartenders set the mood. Great in the evening as well.

“Great beer selection”
Reviewed November 22, 2011

Didn't try anything to eat (not even sure if they have anything?), but they do have about a dozen taps - almost all local brews as well as guinness/harp. Large selection of domestic swill in the bottle, but the reason to go here is the selection of NOLA/Abita beers. A ton of TVs and they seem to be serious about their sports, which is not at all a bad thing, but if that's not what you're looking for, be forewarned. We went on a Friday night, which was very laid back and then again Saturday afternoon which was PACKED with LSU fans. Bartenders are very friendly. Smoking inside. Booths and stools.

“Always a great night!”
Reviewed September 22, 2011

Ryan's has always been a great in between bar. Most of the patron's are locals but you get a good mix of tourists coming through the bar on their way to Bourbon. That's part of what makes this place so great. The local's tend to mostly work in the service industry and always know the Quarter, so don't be afraid to ask for information or suggestions. The bar staff is top notch, and always has been (I've lived in NOLA years past and still continue to visit the bar). Very friendly staff that will do their best to help you out and take care of you. They don't have a kitchen so it's no problem to bring in food or even have food delivered to the bar!
