Will take your breath away when you walk into it. The beauty of the interior, the history and solemness of it is overtaking.

“Absolutely magnificent!”

The mosaics in this Basilica are stunning. If you are visiting St Louis don't miss seeing them! There are more mosaics here than at the Vatican.

“Beautiful! A must see”
Reviewed October 7, 2012

It is a beautiful cathedral with a quiet peaceful ambience. A must see in New Orleans! It is also a santuary for the homeless which just adds to the ambience.

“Lovely”
Reviewed October 6, 2012

We stepped in to enjoy the beauty and were treated to soft monastic music wafting from above. Juxtaposed against a muted DixieLand sound outside it was like a foretaste of the music of heaven. Ceiling paintings are shown in my photo.
