What's not to love? The best restaurants on earth, great music, the friendliest people ANYWHERE. New Orleans and especially the French Quarter are so much fun!

A must see for anyone going to New Orleans, so much more than just Bourbon Street. Although walking down Bourbon Street during the day was worth the trip, may not be for everyone but a unique part of the city, I don't suggest you go alone. Royal Street and the others are very different and fun to tour. The streets are narrow just as they were hundreds of years ago. So much to see with street performers, love the jazz. Only a short walk and your in another district.

We were walking by the Steamboat Natchez entrance and we came across a high school jazz band from Florida playing there, we sat down and watched them perform, they were amazing.
Bourbon St., was not for us and we did not care to walk down it. But there are so many other things to see and do here, especially the street performers.

I had a trip planned to N.O. last year and cancelled it to go to Vegas after the hotel raised the parking fees twice in 2 weeks prior to the vacation. Came this week with a friend and have found virtually all of the food and attractions to exceed my expectations.

A very old district, sometimes smelly, with lots of interesting people and shops. The local artists shops had great works, things to bring home. Bourban street at night at a bit overwhelming...to risque for me.
