“Great place to grab a delicious lunch!”

We grabbed a quick lunch and loved it! We shared a shrimp po boy with 2 sides slaw and collards. Really fun and casual place. Only open for lunch.

“The Store is great, but Reuben's is even better.”
Reviewed May 28, 2013

My wife and I have eaten at The Store on several occations and have always enjoyed the pulled pork sandwiches, hamburgers, and others, but we visited Reuben's today ( their sister restaurant) and were very impressed with the quality of the pastrami and roast beef sandwiches we enjoyed. I tell you this pastrami rivals any I have had in the best New York Delis. It is obvious they make it fresh in house. It is so tender and flavorful it melts in your mouth. The roast beef is also excellent. If you are in the CBD for lunch you must go to Reuben's for the best sandwiches ever.

“Reuben's Soup”
Reviewed April 8, 2013

This place is actually one block up from The Store on Gravier St and is owned and operated by the same Chef, Reuben Laws. It is open for breakfast and lunch only and that is probably the only bad thing you can say. Everything else is Excellent here. The locals of the Central Business District certainly frequent this place. I had both the tomato basil soup and the Country soup. They were both excellent. If you are just looking for a good sandwich and a cup of soup not in the tourist areas, this is the place to go.

“Very fresh and delicious”
Reviewed March 25, 2013

Was recommended to try The Store (and also Rueben's) by a friend. We just had lunch at The Store and oh my, the food was fresh and delicious.  It was the BEST burger we've had since living in NOLA for the past 18 months, and that beats Port of Call and The Burger Company amongst others.  I had three tacos with today's recommendations including blackened shrimp with corn and salsa, carnitas pork with slaw and avocado, chicken with black bean and tasso.  All were very fresh and tasty. Oh, and the sweet potato fries were the best we have EVER eaten - hot, crispy on the outside and creamy on the inside. Can't wait to go back and also to bring some of our friends next time.

“Great find!!!”
Reviewed January 14, 2013

Stopped in here for a quick lunch on the way back to our hotel in a cold misty drizzle. It was late for lunch -around 2:45, but the staff was as friendly and welcoming as they could be. I had a cup of potato soup and a side salad. Delicious! My husband had a cheeseburger and fries..also delicious!
Wish we had found this out of the way spot earlier in our trip. Would definitely recommend giving it a try.
