Great ambience, delicious food. Absolutely the finest ingredients. For the entree, they bring out covered dishes and Voila! your entree appears. What was quite surprising was that one person in my party ordered the ravioli and he only got 3 -- hardly enough for a grown man. Honestly, it should have been AT LEAST double that amount, don't you think?

We live in Lockport and have been to TallGrass a handful of times over the past 5 years. We have never been disappointed. You have the option of ordering a 3, 4, or 5 course meal. We always get the 3 course and leave stuffed. Some items on the menu are seasonal. They work hard to use local ingredients when possible. We took our son there the other night for his 21st birthday. We have talked about the food to him every time we went and he was very excited to try it for himself. (For the record, we will not be taking our other son there for his 21st birthday. He does not have the palate for it.) But we had a great time. The food, presentation, staff, etc. were amazing. Our son did 4 courses. We did 3. This does not cause any problems. We enjoyed resting during his extra course! The chef often sends out an amusement before your first course. There is an extensive wine list and full service bar. There is also homemade bread brought tableside throughout the meal. Allow at least 2 hours for dinner. This is an experience not to be missed. There is a dress code and reservations are required, but don't let that intimidate you. This is the most approachable, comfortable high end experience we have had. We will return as often as we can afford it.

This is one of the best dinning experiences I have had. I love the way they served the food and I loved the way they served the food. It is a must if you have not had the chance to go there yet. I believe reservations are required.
