Went to Fleming's for my birthday and everything was great. Denise brought us a few samples of wine before we settled on a delicious reasonably priced Zin. Steaks were cooked perfectly- 2 filets and a bone-in ribeye were ordered. Denise's service was friendly, well-timed, and she made great recommendations. This is my favorite special occasion restaurant in Madison.

Had a nice dinner here last weekend. The decor is traditional steakhouse a la Morton's: dark colors, masculine style, dimmed lights. The Muzak unfortunately did not match in a seeming attempt to attract a hip crowd with Indie music and some pop. Definitely was a bit schizoid. Our waiter Joey was nice but had the distractibilty that plagues so many younger servers. He just didn't seem that into it, displayed little personality. But the guy who brought the water was friendly! The food was, however, exceptional, which is why one goes to a steakhouse in the first place I guess. We were able to order off the Prix Fixe menu singularly, which was nice. My petit filet was cooked a perfect medium rare, and the side of summer squash and fresh green beans was inventive and delicious. Drinks were prepared professionally. All in all, I would go back, but i'd bring a pair of shared ear buds with Miles Davis and John Mayall tracks.

I have been to Fleming's twice now and each time the food is above and beyond what I would expect. It is an excellent place for a celebration, private booths and the wait staff is polite and on their game. They definitely ensure you have excellent service. I have an absolute love for their filet carpaccio it is unbelievably amazing!

Have been to Fleming's a couple of times before and have enjoyed great food and service. Moved our son out of the dorms and found ourselves just in time for the "5 for $6 "Til 7" happy hour deal. The menu was great, with 5 choices of drinks and wine. Don't miss the prime burger and fries deal! Hard to find a better burger out there. A nice relaxing break before hitting the road again. We were able to enjoy the patio outside, just wish they could shield it a bit more with trees from the road and parking lot.

We expected good service and a great dinner and we were not disappointed. The service was superb. A generous pour on my Jameson's. Wife had a white cosmo which she loved. Wine was great. They have the wine list on an iPad which was pretty cool. The steaks were perfect. Just the right amount of pink center. Be careful of the sides. They are big. Ours would feed two. We took some home. Final bill with tip was close to 200 bucks.
