We like to walk here after a Badger game at Camp Randall. It"s about five blocks from the stadium on Regent. There's nothing notable about the entrance and possibly easy to miss. You enter and then take the stairs down to the lower level where you will find a dark, small, low ceilinged bar and tightly fitted tables which are most likely filled. If there are no seats open at the bar you will have to wait at the cramped area by the doorway. Although you won't mind because the aroma of fresh baked pizza will make it enjoyable. The staff is friendly and the service is okay although sometimes we wait a few minutes before being greeted. No big deal though. The pizza is worth the wait with its thin crispy crust and delicious toppings. The two of us can almost finish a large but leftovers are always welcome. For about 25 dollars you can get a couple of beers and a large pizza with several toppings. You can get other Italian dishes which are also very good but the main attraction here is the pizza. Its my favorite so far in Madison after living here for six years.
