This was the first Clarion hotel I've ever stayed in and I must say it was a very pleasant experience! Wonderful staff, upon arrival we had an issue with our bank card and they were very friendly and helpful to get us in our room. Once in the room it was really clean, and spacious. The Fridge was one of the more bigger ones we've ever had in a hotel room. This, for us, was a great thing as we did a lot of "specialty" grocery shopping and it was nice to not have to keep everything in a cooler. The rooms are very quiet despite being located right by an elevator. They have free beer and wine with snacks at night and a selection of local beer to purchase! If you're ever in Wisconsin Try the spotted cow!! Best beer ever! The free breakfast in the morning is really good as well. A lot of options, and the menu changes each day..one day we had sausage with eggs, the next corn beef hash with eggs, and biscuits and gravy! all of which were delicious.
My only complaint the entire 3 night stay was the bed. The pillows are great the comforter and sheets are soft and warm, but the bed is very very firm and we found ourselves shuffling a lot at night to try and get comfortable along aching backs in the morning.. we found ourselves taking ibuprofen...This was the first Clarion hotel I've ever stayed in and I must say it was a very pleasant experience! Overall it was a terrific hotel, friendly staff, very clean and accommodating. Word of advice though to improve this hotel..softer mattresses or at least maybe layer some memory foam or something over the mattress.More
