We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights while visiting Mesa Verde National Park and found this to be a beautiful hotel! Most HIEs are cookie-cutter hotels that all look exactly alike. But not here. It's the engraved floor tiles, carpets design, wall decor, lamp shades in the hallway, door number signs, and the fireplace on the second floor that give this place character and set it apart from the other HIE. Very clean rooms; no major maintenance issues found. Breakfast was excellent and what you would normally expect from HIE. Our room included a microwave and fridge, which was not advertised on their website and certainly not expected. Yes, the price is a bit steep, but it is consistent with that of other western tourist towns in mid-September. And, I think its worth it.
The only suggestion that I can offer to you is to provide a better business center. While I had no need for it, I think you could do better than one computer at the check-in desk.More
