Stayed here Sun 4/9 - Tues 4/11. I've stayed many places all over, but must admit this place had quite a few problems. First: After going out during the day and wanting a swim, found it to be empty with water all over the parking lot. This place does have an indoor pool, and it was working, but full of beer and teenagers. Second: Why is it it traveling people with kids just let them go wild? Right over our head, running around and slamming doors. Parents - not everyone wants to hear your kids and is tolerable of it! Third" Parking is slim. Better get there early!

Place was clean though in the room...

In August 2005, we had an enjoyable stay in a large 2-bedroom suite upstairs overlooking the outdoor pool. I think the range of reviews reflect the mix of rooms here. There are some older rooms facing the front parking lot that are dark because of the overhang covering the walkway. There are newer rooms over near the indoor pool (really a giant hot tub) and outdoor water garden. The complaint about the pink sheets is kind of funny because they are part of the southwest decor (pink for the rock formations of the desert southwest)...the sheets compliment the turquoise spreads and are clean and soft. The continental breakfast does get crowded but there are extra tables outside. We had a very comfortable, spacious, and clean room, and our kids enjoyed the outdoor pool. Staff very helpful and nice also.

We had reservations elsewhere when we got to town. The other motel was awful (Travelodge) and so we switched to the Best Western. We were delighted. We paid $90 for a living room, bath, and bedroom suite. It was terrific. The rooms were large, clean, and non-smoking. We offset the additional costs by eating in our room for 2 nights. With a microwave and fridge, we had no difficulty serving our own food and in comfort. My husband found the indoor pool/hot tub. If it is a pool then it is small. If it is a hot tub then it is ENORMOUS! We absolutely loved it. We had it all to ourselves for two nights and we felt like a king and queen. The jets were so strong that the water could blow my husband half way across the tub. Terrific! After climbing the red rock in Moab to the Delicate Arch the day before and going to Cliff Palace and Balcony House in one afternoon, the hot, jetted water felt just great. Breakfast was fine. There was fruit, breads, bagels, cererals, and drinks. We piled up our plates high and ate in our room. The staff was lovely. We would go again in a heart beat.

We were booked here for 2 nights and we were highly dis-appointed with this place. Our king room was very small, dark and dingy. Sheets were pink which I personally found quite disturbing, you expect crisp white sheets in a hotel!?! The bathroom was also very small with the vanity area outside it which had an ultra-violet light (maybe to shed some extra brightness in the room?) Complimentary breakfast was not much to speak off, some bagels, waffles, bread and cereal. Pool area was in the parking lot and the jet-pool was inside an overheated room! Overall we did not enjoy our stay here and found it very over-priced.
