On driving from Florida to Texas, as you do, it is advisable to find somewhere to sleep for a few hours!! My partner and I only planned an over night stay at the Alpine Inn but found the hospitality so good we rearranged our schedule and stayed 2 nights. Not only was the hospitality great from Tim the previous owner but we had the pleasure of meeting the 2 delightful new owners all the way from bonnie Scotland. From the hand delivered cinnamon roles in the morning to the pool side bbq, the service was first class and the company excellent. With clean affordable rooms (all bizarely but individually themed with a twist of fun) freshly ground coffee, and walking distance to Bathhouse Row, this is the perfect getaway for as long or as little as you like and will suit families, couples and friends. A surprising little oasis that we will endevour to return to. A big thumbs up to the Alpine Inn, bless her and all who sleep in her..............
