“Beautiful B&B and excellent service!”
Reviewed March 16, 2014

My husband and I stayed at Hilltop Manor on our honeymoon. I had found them under the Hot Springs website and was immediately taken in by the posted pictures of the property and some great reviews. Let me tell you, the pictures and reviews don't do it justice. The house and grounds are beautiful. There is a lovely waterfall and landscaping out front and a big stone patio and fireplace out back. My husband and I enjoyed making a fire and sitting outside on one of our nights there. Jennifer is wonderful to work with from the moment you call to make a reservation. She makes sure that she takes care of all your needs and is very easy to reach if you need her. When we arrived, we were greeted by Joanna and shown around the house. She also recommended several local places to eat, and different places to go. They served us a homemade (and what I consider gourmet!) breakfast made by Joanna every morning that was absolutely delicious! Jennifer and Joanna go above and beyond for their guests. I am so happy that I found their B&B and we will only stay there on any return trips to Hot Springs.

This bed and breakfast is a little ways from town but not so far that it takes too long to get anywhere. We were greeted by Joanna and her dog, Gracie. Our room was on the second floor, and it was very large with all of the amenities you could want. Right outside our door was a little kitchenette, and we had a fireplace and tv with a DVD player. The grounds are lovely, and big enough that you can go for a walk, especially after all of the food that is placed in front of your for breakfast. It was an incredible amount of food, but we ate a lot of it. Everything was excellent. There is a nice coffee bar with snacks, DVDs and many books to look at if necessary. We loved the beautiful fountain and ponds out front and the simple decor was refreshing as opposed to the heavy Victorian B&B we were in the night before. We would stay here again.

This was a spur of the moment getaway, and we couldn't have picked a better spot. Hmmm, was it the Jacuzzi for two by the fireplace in our room or the extremely comfortable bed? Or was it the luscious breakfast (MUCH more than you will expect!)? Honestly, it was everything including our hosts and our new friends we met over the breakfast table. This was one of the most relaxing times we've had in years. Next time we'll stay longer!

Room Tip: Choose the Sycamore. Nothing beats the Jacuzzi for two by the fireplace!

We will return on any trip to Hot Springs. The food was wonderful and the grounds are beautiful. Great hospitality. Our children give us a get away for Christmas each year and they hit a home run with this one.

Room Tip: We stayed in the Rose room and it was great. It is upstairs but that was not any issue. Lots of room...

My wife and I stayed at the Hilltop Manor B&B last year during Valentine's Day week and absolutely fell in love with the B&B and the Hot Springs experience. The Bath Houses, the racetrack, the timeless downtown shopping are a perfect match for the Hilltop Manor Bed and Breakfast experience. Jen and Jo are awesome hosts. They attend to all of the details for guests...including finding box seats for us at the last minute for the races in case of inclement weather. The manor includes a huge front room with fireplace, an expansive front porch and wonderful outdoor hearth that provides a cozy setting in the evenings to drink hot cocoa and roast marshmallows and visit with other guests. The outdoor grounds are wonderful for taking short walks and envisioning the historicstories of the famous and infamous days of previous guests. The Breakfasts were exquisite and my wife aways gets the recipes. The afternoon snacks are always a pleasant surprise and very tasty. We stayed in the Oak Room and it is a very spacious and comfortable, with fire place and two person jacuzzi which we toasted in Valentine's Day with. It has a King Size bed with high thread sheets that make it easy to go to sleep at night and hard to get out of in the morning. The room is designed for the guests to relax and even has a Sony relax station electonic sound machine with different relaxation sounds that help soothe the soul. Can't say enough. Highly recommended. Hilltop Manor helps to set and keep the standard for the Select Registry Bed and Breakfasts and we will keep coming back to enjoy it.

Room Tip: During the winter and early Spring months...the rooms with the fireplace are really nice.

What a wonderful time. My wife and I spent the weekend at Hilltop for a quick get away and it was perfect. The service was impeccable and the room was great. Get ready for a breakfast that you won't forget, it is excellent. Nothing but good thing to say about Hilltop. We will go back......

My daughter and I spent 2 nights here on a mother daughter getaway. The room was well appointed, clean, and beautiful. We especially enjoyed the fireplace and big jacuzzi tub. The breakfasts were yummy and the owner (that we met) was delightful. The grounds were beautiful even though it was to cold to explore! We enjoyed the DVD library and my daughter loved the fact that hot chocolate was always available. My only small complaint is that their site talks about having snacks available. They did have drinks but the snack basket had obviously been (almost) emptied the 1st night we were there. The second night my daughter went to go look for a snack and they still had not been refilled. Of course, this was a minor issue in an otherwise great stay. I will definitely be back, hopefully next time with my spouse.
