The bath house was so clean! I’ve never seen one cleaner. We missed seeing the workout room until our last day but it had all you need to get in a workout. The dock was nice for sitting on while people swam in the lake that is just a few feet from the parking spots for the RV’s. The park was very quiet & it was kept clean. It’s close to downtown & the National Park area. We really enjoyed our stay.More

I came in after the office closed with no res. While I was at the office looking for after close instruction this lady came up and said she was the host. She opened the office roused the manager and booted up the computer to check me in. They were so nice and friendly and didn’t act like I was imposing or lecture me about stopping earlier in the day. The site was the most level I have ever had. Next morning I found I was right on the lakeshore! I highly recommend this campground and the lake is a bonus!

The sites are gravel but rather level. It is not on lake Hamilton as we thought. Very clean park and friendly check in. It is very easy accessible to downtown and very well signed for directions to the park. The only negative was the water pressure. We would use this park again.
Thank you for mentioning the water pressure. We have since replaced a faulty water pressure regulator and are back to normal pressure now.
I'm sorry that you missed the inlet from Lake Hamilton. When you return please visit the picnic areas or the enclosed dog park which surround our part of the bay. If you have a fishing license, wet a line from our fishing dock!

This is a small campground, which is not bad. With Good Sam discount, the rates are very reasonable.
All gravel, roomy, back in sites. Only minimal camp store. Very helpful and friendly couple who manage the campground.
Very quiet - no trains, planes, trucks or highway noise. If you have a boat, there is boat ramp to lake Hamilton.
But, it was the exercise room, the rest rooms, the shower rooms, the laundry area, that were absolutely amazing. They looked like facilities at a Hilton Hotel.
I mean a Nordic Track elliptical machine and stationary cycle. Although there was no tv in the exercise room. There is a kitchenette area with large table that seats 10-12 people available for groups.
A short drive to Hot Springs National park, and the many other must see attractions downtown. A Shopping mall and many restaurants.
We enjoyed our two week stay!
