“Loved it.”

We saw the play "Driving Miss Daisy". The cast were really into their parts and did an excellent job. The catered buffet dinner was delicious and had a good variety. Thank you Tom Wilkins for your many talents and for putting this theatre back in business. It was great.

“Highly recommended!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 16, 2012

Our experience at the Five Star Theatre was superb. Dinner was excellent, and probably the most affordable in Hot Springs with the show purchase. Driving Miss Daisy was showing during our visit and they did it great justice with Daisy and Hoke cast very well. Tom Wilkins, who ia the manager, is a very nice guy and 100% accomodating to all guests. The dinner theatre is a new venture for this venue so I expect great things for this place.

“Semi-pro Performances”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 16, 2012

Ist of all ,the food is the best you'll find in a dinner theatre. Supplied by both the Porterhouse and Belle Arte next door. The shows are performed by local pros with lots of laughs. Care is taken with their scripts to make the performances family friendly. Atmosphere is very welcome and friendly. The cast meets and greets the audience, getting to know them and thanking them for their attendance. Good experience all around.

“Greater Tuna”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 30, 2012 via mobile

The production it's self was over all really good, considering the talent pretty good. However the food was awful and not set up properly! It was hard to eat when people that were in the Buffett line where standing over you.

Greater Tuna played to mixed reviews although the attendance was above expectations. You either loved it or hated it. This reviewer obviously did not like it. We hope you will try another play sometime.

“GREAT Food, Not great comedy”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 29, 2012

The food served was top-notch, and aplenty. Although the actors and people working there were as friendly as could be, the play itself lacked luster very soon from the beginning. There were some laughs, but overall, just too wordy, too yell-y, and it is probably high-time that they drop some of their racial mentionings, even if they are trying to display what a town called Tuna acts like. People don't really want to see stuff like that; in fact, I think it makes most uncomfortable. There were children there who did not need to witness those jokes, or see one of the characters grabbing himself, atop only boxers! They need to make this venue more fun for families.
