Good for: Special occasions
Dining options: Late Night
Description: Arkansas' oldest bar. Step back in history and have a drink where the likes of Al Capone, Lucky Luciano, Al Jolson, Mae West and a host of others have. We have won People Choice awards for our Hamburgers and our Reubens have been reported to be the best they have ever had. We keep our menu simple but high quality. We have live music 7 nights a week with Blues on Wednesday nights, Jazz on Thursday night and classic rock on the weekends. The Ohio Club Players are our house band and have been a Hot Springs favorite. Non smoking and open at 11am every day until 2am.

The burgers are out of this world. It's a clean facility that has lots of history in it. Apparently Al Capone used to frequent this place? It's full of history, cool art and "artifacts" from the area. Affordable, non-smoking, super clean and right in the heart of downtown Hot Springs!

Don't come here for the food! The menu is good but very limited (Hamburgers/sandwiches). However, it is a very cool place. The history is fascinating and the atmosphere is great. The bartender make a mean martini and the service was good and very friendly. Even though they advertised the "best" hamburger in the state, mine was overcooked for my tastes and uninspired. It was worth the trip for the atmosphere.

Walked in Sat. Night about 8:30. It was smokey and packed. No music, just a juke box....No place to walk let alone sit!!! No one looked as though they had been served anything but booze. Thus, we walked out to clean air that we could breathe and continued on our search for some food.

I am sorry you had a bad experience at the Ohio Club. I do not understand you saying it was smokey because we are NOT a smoking venue. And I cant really apologize for being busy and the band starts at 9PM. We do have a hostess that would have put you on a list for a table if we had the chance. Give us a chance next time. Walking in and out and giving us a 1 star review because we are packed isnt fair, especially since you say it was too smokey and we do not allow smoking.

Been here once before and was so impressed with the nostalgia and the house band, "Ohio Players" that I took another group of family and friends!! As before, Donna, the lead singer of the band is very engaging! She makes an effort to remember your name and where you are from and welcomes you to the club. Lots of fun!! Also, we ate in there this time. My husband who is a "cheese burger connoissieur", lol, says it is one of the best cheeseburgers he's ever had. They were very good size and on a great bun!! Every one else was pleased as well. We'll be back when we're in Hot Springs again!! :)

Service good, prices average for Hot Spring during racing season. Entertainment drew good reaction with couples dancing in a small space. Appetizer filling and good value for price paid. Good for two drinks for the history and across the street from national park.
