This RV park is top notch. Probably the nicest RV park I've stayed at as a full-timer.The location is beautiful. Away from busy streets and highways. Quiet. Secluded but not too far away at all. The moment I saw this facility when we pulled in, I was in love. The location is next to a ridge trees and hill that makes for it's own little valley. Connected to Lake Catherine. This has a boat dock.Pool.Large pull through RV pads big enough for our 36 1/2 ft RV and our mini-van to comfortably fit.The bathrooms are awesome and clean. The showers are huge with their own door to make your shower private. Extremely clean. Can accommodate large families and some groups.I honestly could go on and on. We plan on staying at their other facilities across the South as well. This is definitely a step up from your normal RV park. Another cool thing is that it's private but not closed to the public. You don't have to be a member of any club to stay here. I love it.

We enjoyed two nights in Yurt 6. Even though there was just two of us, there was room to sleep 8. It was very comfortable and the property was very well maintained and everyone was super nice, even when we had to call them out after 11 p.m. to let us back in after we locked ourselves out. The office was nicely stocked with needed supplies and snacks at reasonable prices. We thoroughly enjoyed an evening swim in the large heated pool. The bathrooms and showers were the best and cleanist I've ever seen. Will definitely go back when we can.

This place is a great place for families, girl's trips, or even getting away alone. We stayed in one of the loft cabins (me, husband, 11 year old dtr, and dog) and it was so well equipped and clean, there was not one thing we needed that it did not have. All the amenities are a short walk from the cabins, which are all situated together. When we were there this past weekend, they were pretty much booked up but it was very quiet. Monica and Christy at the lodge are very helpful and friendly. The pool is heated in October, when we were there, and it was fabulous, felt like a warm bath. The lake and the view surrounding the park is beautiful. It's only a short and easy drive into downtown Hot Springs and close to Garvan Woodland Gardens. I really can't say enough good things about it, and we can't wait to go back.Affordable and pet friendly too.
The only thing I would let people know about is the cabins are kind of narrow, there is not a lot of seating in the living room. We are only a family of 3 so it wasn't a big deal but for a large family, you may want to keep that in mind.

I fully agree with all the excellent reviews. Our entire family, 5 adults, one toddler, small dog and two large dogs fit in the deluxe yurt (y7) very comfortably.. Cannot say enough great things about this place and priced reasonable. Small frig, microwave and coffee pot provide. I also have camped a great deal and yes nicest restrooms/shower house! Visited wegner crystal mines and woodland park garden only short distance away.. Beautiful chapel wish we had time to explore the gardens.. I would highly recommend the landing! 5 stars

You can chose a site and if it's available you can have it. The concrete sites are excellent. The showers are clean and a good option for my husband who is 6'5" and struggles in the shower in our A class RV. We fished off the docks in Lake Catherine and it was very relaxing and my husband caught and released some trout. The office only has snacks, no food, so bring your own. The ice machine seems to melt the ice as it comes out. The dog park is big and a nice area. Overall, if we were to comeback to the area we would stay there again. It is super easy to get to all the tourist attractions from the location, the Garvan Woodlands are very close and a great place to visit.

My family has been here three times this past year. The restrooms are exceptional and the locTion is convenient to Hot Springs. We camp and you can get lakefront spits if you reserve early. My kids love to fish at the boat dock and catch quite a few. The pool is nice, but can fear crowded quickly.

Room Tip: Request lakefront

We've been to Hot Springs many times - usually 1-2 times/year for the last 7 years... This was our first time at Catherine Landing. We rented one of the yurts for the labor day weekend and were very pleased. The yurt was luxury compared to others we've stayed in... hardwood floors, air conditioning, lights, outlets, beds with linens! It even had a small-ish fridge for a few groceries and drinks and a coffee maker (did not use). It did not have a microwave - that would have been a nice addition. The facility was nice, clean, centrally located to our activities (primarily using our season pass at Magic Springs) but still off the main path. They have the cleanest central bathrooms and showers I have ever enjoyed camping (and I've seen quite a few at state parks and various campgrounds). There is a covered pavilion area with tables, shared grill, and two outdoor kitchen sinks. They have a pool that looked nice but we did not get in since we spent all day at the water park. There is a Wii room at the main office, gift shop, laundry facility, and free wifi throughout the area. The only drawback for us - the yurt and deck were elevated in a swampy sort of area and the mosquitos were relentless. So we did not use the camping chairs we brought - sitting outside in the yurt area was not really an option. I highly recommend for anyone accustomed to camping who would like a little extra comfort or for someone who is not sure they are up for camping - it is practically a hotel room (minus bathroom, microwave, and tv). A neat non-traditional housing choice!
