“Great food!”
Reviewed November 9, 2012

We ordered the specials of the night, one of which was lamb. Both dishes were excellent! The food presentation, flavor and temperature were perfect. I would compare it to NYC restaurant quality; a pleasant surprise.
I would much rather see a restaurant spend money on it's Chef and food quality than on the decor or structure.

“Food was good, but not as good as expected”
Reviewed November 3, 2012

This place looks like a hole in the wall when driving by, it almost seems like it could be in an old part of town or in a not so great part of town. Inside looks nicer than the outside. The waitress seated us and she was nice enough, but not overly friendly. The menu was smaller than I thought, there was a side for lunch (one sheet of paper) and a side for dinner and appetizers (a second sheet of paper.) That wasn't bad, just surprising to us. We got the guacamole, since reading the reviews that it was so good and it was pretty good. There is an option to get it mild, medium or spicy. We chose medium. It wasn't overly spicy, but it was good. My husband got the cheeseburger and it was ok, not bad, but not great etiher. I had the chicken quesadilla. It was good, probably better than the cheeseburger. It wasn't served with any greens (for decoration) or any sides. I thought it was odd not to have a little salad with it or something else to accomany it. It almost seemed more like an appetizer. We also tried the creme brulee, it was ok, very small amount for the price and the sugar was almost burned. There was one other couple in the restaurant for lunch and no one else came in while we were there. The food was good, but just not as good as the reviews seemed to make it. I wouldn't consider this the number 1 place to eat in Hot Springs.

“The best place to eat in Hot Springs”
Reviewed October 21, 2012

My husband and I come here everytime we are in town. Homemade chips and quacomole. Steak is awesome. Pasta is awesome. Avacado Tuna Salad is the best. You cannot beat the fresh food served here. Always creative, fresh and a delight to the palate. Hats off to the owner and his wife.

“Unexpected gem in Hot Springs”
Reviewed October 7, 2012

This restaurant was recommended by the proprietor of the B & B where we were staying.... The wait staff was inexperienced but made up for it in their efforts and courtesy. The experienced waitress was on hand to help when needed. We love good food and live in a city that has many excellent restaurants -we had a deligtful meal., perfectly cooked..... We will definitely return next time we are in Hot Springs
