“Beautiful Historical town”
Reviewed April 5, 2013

Bath House Row is beautiful and I loved the history of the spas, town, hotels, etc. This area has drawn people to it for centuries. Lots of historical famous people have visited and enjoyed their stay in this fasinating place with it's hot springs just flowing up all over. That was so fasinating to the Indians, I'm sure. And before there was several spas in every town - this drew many famous stars, political figures, gangsters, etc. We spent most of the day in Quapaw Bath house & enjoyed it. Go at least once.....

“Nice hike with a view”
Reviewed March 14, 2013

Hiking up the mountain from downtown is a great break. Down the mountain is the hot springs for relaxation. While they are indoor pools they are still relaxing. It is a shame they have no outdoor pools.

“Nice view”
Reviewed March 11, 2013 via mobile

For a short hike or even shorter drive it's a nice view from the top. If you want to drive it's a way lane, one way, up and down with very limited parking and no shoulder/curb to park on.

“Lovely views, nice and quiet”
Reviewed February 26, 2013

We take all our out-of-town visitors to the top of Hot Springs Mountain. The drive up the mountain is quite lovely, but it is full of sharp switchbacks, so go slow. (It is one-way, so that makes it safer.) Once you get to the top, you'll see beautiful views of the Ouachitas. It's a great way to see the lay of the land. At the top, there is a small pavilion that is great for sitting and watching or eating lunch. There are a few hiking trails that branch out from the top of the mountain as well. Beautiful woods with relatively short hikes.

The "Mountain Tower" turns off to the left right at the top of the mountain. I have not been in the tower because it costs $7 to go up and you can get FREE beautiful vistas right from the parking area by the pavilion. As you reach the bottom of the mountain, there is a tapped cold spring that you can use to fill up water bottles with delicious Hot Springs water.
