Bathhouse row is a must experience of Hot Springs. You can feel what it was like in the late 1800's for health seekers to treat themselves to baths in the thermal springs & experience it still today. Get food, gelato or beer from one of the old bathhouses now brewery!

Everyone whether visiting the city of Hot Springs or living here needs to walk down Bathhouse Row. I love it here year round. If you go inside the renovated bath houses and just think about what it must have been like back in the roaring 40's when all the gangsters visited here for the thermal baths. I am so happy the bath houses are being restored.

Experience was different! Very vintage and much more personal! A bit pampering as well. It would b nice to b able to do it more often. I'm not an expert but all of the hot springs I've been to in many forms have all had their good points...the best thing no matter which one or type you always feel better afterwards!

Many don't know it, but Hot Springs, Arkansas, was the place gangsters came to play. Chief among them was a hood by the name of Al Capone, who was a regular at the Arlington just down the road. Al and his like, were told by the then Governor, that it was ok to come, play, bathe and gamble.... Just don't shoot up the place. So if you want to taste history and see how it used to be in these beautiful bath houses, bath house row is the place to go.

Enjoyable to visit these buildings, read the history of them. Free to visit, enjoy a bath or massage in some of them.
