“Absolutely wonderful stay at Five Points Lake Hamilton”
Reviewed June 2, 2012 via mobile

We just spent two wonderful days at Five Point Lake Hamilton Cabins and we will deffinately be going back! We had a wonderful time, the owners made us feel so welcome and the cabin was beautiful. It was quiet and peaceful even our teenagers loved it. They ventured out in the boat with the oars, fished, hung out down at the beautiful lit up gazebo and docks at night. We found the cabin well stocked with everything we needed to not only grill and cook but the added breakfast items waiting for us when we got there made a wonderful addition. Our host was very informative about all there was to do and where to find places. We were very happy with our stay, Thank You Five Points!

It's hard to believe these cabins are only one mile off Central Ave (the main drag of Hot Springs). There are several cabins, some date from the 1930's, the newer ones are only a few years old. We stayed in one of the "medium one bedroom" cabins. A log cabin with large living room, two queen beds in a large bedroom overlooking the lake, and a full kitchen and full bath with central heat/ac as well. The owner manages the property and is friendly and helpful. Kitchen is stocked with breakfast food (eggs, bacon, milk, juice, etc.). Also row boats and decks are there as well. We found it very relaxing, and yet we could get to everything in town in only a few minutes. We loved it.

Room Tip: Check out the cabins on line. Several sizes available. For a couple, the medium one bedroom are the...

We just spent the weekend in Cabin 3 at Five Points and we had a wonderful time. We had 3 in our party and had plenty of space. The Cabin had awesome rustic details and was quiet and secluded even though we were really close to Central Ave. shoppping, restaurants, and entertainment. (We were there for the Horse Races on Saturday). Beds were comfy, even the futon bed had a great mattress. Breakfast fixins were a great addition. Check in was great, staff was very friendly and accomodating. We are already planning to return in Spring or Summer with our kids, dog (they are pet friendly), and our boat, they also have boat slips available. I am a researcher and planner when it comes to travel for our family. I always scour the internet for the best price and best deals. Five Points Resort on Lake Hamilton was the best thing I found for cabins around Hot Springs, they had the best price and I was Wonderfully pleased with our stay, nothing bad to say!!!!!!!

We have just returned from a roadtrip across america, five points cabin was definately one of our favourite places we stayed. The location was beautiful, the cabins were rustic, charming and homely. We were provided with a great breakfast and Skip could not have been more welcoming and helpful. We would love to return one day and hope this place never changes.

Room Tip: All cabins appeared beautiful with great lake-side positioning

We are staying here now, we have stayed at several cabins across the USA and I with out a doubt give this place a 5 star rating. The cabin is very rustic but modern. next to hamilton Lake with compamentry boats to use to fish from. Skip and his wife are so friendly, more than I would have ever expected. The refriderater was stocked with fine fixens for breakfast in the mornings, Skip even asked if we need more. The lake is right down from the cabins with trails leading down. It os so pretty here, just like a dream. The cabin was very clean stocked to the max with everything you could think of. BIG plush towels handtowels an a juzzie tub to boot. A full boby bath soap. I could not think of anything to make it better. The only bad thing is we have to leave. But will for sure be back and tell all our friends. The price is so cheap for what you get. Hope you guys have a great time a fivepointscabins.

The Five Point Cabins are a great location. Being only a mile from the main road it feels like you are deep in the woods. Our cabin was near the gazebo and docks where we spent a lot of time enjoying the view and peace and quiet. We stayed in one of the two bedroom cabins which are very old. The beds were comfortable and the breakfast foods were a nice addition. However the bathroom shower is disgusting. I'm afraid it goes way beyond 'rustic', more like rusted. The shower stall is tin and is so rusted that there is a mat on the floor just so you can step in. This really needs to be updated for the price you are paying. The furniture upstairs are two broken down chairs and a futon which makes TV watching undesirable. Overall the location does trump the downside. The new cabins being built look awesome.

Room Tip: Choose one of the newer cabins if possible.
