My wife and I camped here in a travel trailer 22-29 March 2013. This is a quiet, beautiful well maintained park. The camp sites are spacious and most have a lake view. There are some great hiking trails. One must hike trail is the Falls Branch Trail which leads to a beautiful waterfall. Also be sure to go to Garvin Woodland Gardens which is only about 15 minutes from the park. Two campsites to avoid --Site 12 is located near the crest of a hill and you have to back over the crest to get into the site which means you are backing blind for the approach.
Site 54 has a rather steep entry/exit and if your RV has a very long overhang you will drag. There are several long gouges in the pavement to testify to this. Wonderful park-you will enjoy it.

Lovely area. Looked great. Stopped for lunch and walked to the waterfall. Will remember to wear old tennis shoes so we can walk in the water next time. Very good work out!

We did the 2-mile Falls Branch Trail hike back to a nice waterfall. Some mild elevation change but definitely not too strenuous. Trails were well-marked and maintained. Swinging bridge at the end adds a little bit of fun. Even with regular stops for snapping photos, the hike only took about an hour. Definitely worth the visit.

Cabin 20 was at the end of the road with a beautiful view of the bay. Walk outside and fish or swim. Rent a kayak or boat at the marina. Have a fire in the firplace or rent an outside ring. Friendly park rangers and workers. Cabin bedrooms with 2 queens was a little crowded, especially if you have any kind of fishing or swimming gear. Sofa bed not comfy. Back deck a little smaller than I expected but with a beautiful view. The front porch is huge, but no view from front. Sad little kitchen. I would not cook on any of the pans because they were in bad shape. Overall fun night and experience but I perfer a hotel and driving to a lake!

We went two days to hike the paths. Walk the dogs. Enjoyed both loops. Trail to falls was a little difficult not bad. Second day stayed around lake and saw falls from below. Even with the drought falls were beautiful. Drought probably allows more access.
