Baymont Inn & Suites Hot Springs
Ranked #10 of 45 Hotels in Hot Springs
Reviewed September 15, 2008

We had such a nice time during the Hot Springs Rally, and our stay at the Baymont made it even better. The clean room, awsome staff and the location is the best.
We lost power late Saturday about 10 - 11 p.m. due to a storm, We checked out about 9 a.m. Sunday while the power was still out. The power being out did not stop us from from wanting to stay.

We had stayed at another Baymont in another state and vowed never to stay at one again. However, after reading the reviews on Trip Advisor, we decided to give this one a try and we're glad we did. The rooms were spacious, and clean. Our room overlooked the lake. The front desk personnel were very helpful; the breakfast wasn't great but it was quite adequate- sausage and egg patties, weak coffee, bagels, biscuits, real orange juice. We appreciated the luggage caddies readily available in the lobby to take our luggage up to our room. We arrived arounf 1 PM and were quickly allowed to check in early. Until our second afternoon, the weather was pretty bad - cool (70) and rainy. So we never used the pool. The room had microwave, refrigerator and all the standard amenities.

We were hoping for a more historic hotel for our Hot Springs stay, but everything was booked a month before. This wasn't a bad hotel, though. The outdoor pool was heated and the free breakfast was pretty good. The staff was very friendly, too.

The room was trying to be a higher star hotel room (not doing too bad at it). The sheets, though, were a little scratchy and the a/c was really loud when it kicked on.

A clean, comfortable hotel room is a rare find in Hot Springs!
We were highly impressed with our recent stay at the Baymont.
The employees at the front desk were friendly and efficient, and happy to provide a map of Hot Springs and quick tips for visitors.
The room was spotless and well-appointed.
Bed was comfortable, AC worked great, sparkling clean bathroom - we don't have a single complaint about this room.
We loved the balcony with a view of the lake, and the pool and patio area were very nice.
It is not especially close to downtown, but it is not a hard drive to get there. There are some fabulous restaurants near the hotel. After having stayed in noisy, run-down downtown on several occassions, we appreciated the peace and quiet of this hotel.
We'll be back!

We first reviewed all the hotels on TripAdvisor, compared hotel rates for a week and decided to take our chances on the Baymont Inn in Hot Springs.
Upon arriving in town, we noticed our 2nd choice of hotels- and all we could say was, "God, we're glad we chose the Baymont. Hopefully it is better than that!"
When we pulled into the Baymont we were pleasantly surprised at the grounds, and maintenance. Check in was really nice, and the attendant allowed me to use their computer to print of the weekly coupon that we lost on the road. She gave us the discount, and we headed to our room.
When we walked in all we could think was, "Wow. This is perfect." We stayed in room 217, which is King with balcony. Most of our time spent at the hotel was on the balcony watching the boats on the lake, the turtles and fish in the lake, and relaxing.
The rest of our stay was wonderful, we did have one mishap. Somehow, we stepped out on the balcony- and the sliding glass door locked behind us. My husband called down to the front desk, and the the clerk laughed at us (while we were laughing at ourselves). She was promptly up to our room, unlocked the door and let us in.
The rooms were clean, and serviced daily. The staff was awesome- and the view was incredible.

We recently spent an extended weekend in Hot Springs and booked the Baymont due to positive traveler reviews and a reasonable price of $99+tax per night. The hotel is a 15 minute drive from downtown Hot Springs, but is directly on Lake Hamilton. The view of the lake is fantastic, but the lake was murky near the hotel due to the water being stagnant there.

The room was large and the service was good. The room was clean. The pillows were flat and not comfortable--bring your own pillow if this is an issue. The front desk was very helpful and provided a map and useful advice. There is a computer with internet access in the lobby, and we found that to be a nice touch.

The breakfast was wonderful (and free!). Hot biscuits, sausage patties, eggs, toast, waffles, cereal, oatmeal, bagels, juice, and coffee provided a wonderful start to each morning. We weren't hungry until the afternoon.

We thought the hotel was a good value and would stay there again.

We stayed a the Baymont in Hot Springs March 16-19, 2008.

The hotel and rooms were nice and clean, well built and well maintained.

The Breakfast area was well kept, well stocked, and the hostess was on her toes keeping it clean and replentished. The widescreen TV tuned into the Weather Channel was very helpful in planning our days outings during our trip.

The front desk personnel were very friendly and helpful.

We could not get a room at the Baymont for the first night of our visit, and wound up spending one night in a major motel chain just down the road for only slightly less than the Baymont rate that turned out to be a run-down dump.

It appears that the Baymont is one of the few places to stay in Hot Springs that are well built, clean and well maintainted.

Great value, especially when compared to other mid-priced hotels and motels in the area.
