Amazing pancakes! All the food was very good & everyone was very friendly. We even went next door & bought some of their apple butter to take home.

Very good breakfast, good service. We enjoyed it.

Order of sausage is huge - 2 very large thick patties :)

“Bring your appetite!”
Reviewed March 1, 2013

My hotel didn't provide breakfast, so I headed over here and got my food on.

Eggs, juice & coffee, plus a huge pancake with bananas & blueberries cooked into it to finish the meal - and me - off!

This is an honest-to-goodness, real old-fashioned, family-run diner, established in 1940.

They've been featured on TV and in magazines. It's one of the 'must-do' places on many lists, put it on yours.

“Pancake shop--- a must stop”
Reviewed February 28, 2013 via mobile

We ate breakfast there and I got a single buckwheat pancake that was as big as a plate...and tasted wonderful. Hubby is a ham and eggs over easy guy so he ordered 2 eggs and a SMALL ham. The eggs were done to order and the ham covered over half of his platter and had a great smoked flavor. The meal was $18.00 and change, but the quantity, taste, and prompt friendly service compensated. A great meal...

“The way it use to be”
Reviewed February 28, 2013 via mobile

This is the way restaurants use to be. A nothing fancy in the main strip restaurant. The food was homemade. No preprocessed food here. The butter was homemade, the blueberry pancakes were delicious, with real blueberries that were juicy. Coffee was good and the knew how to cook eggs. I just wish we found this gem at the beginning of our trip instead of the end.
