“A trip to the past...”
Reviewed September 5, 2012

Hearing all the stories of the gangsters that frequented our favorite town is fun. Seeing all the old buildings and the bath houses as they looked then was very interesting! Our guide was a hoot in his gangster attire, but very knowledgable. ** Try the Ghost tours too. They are wonderful lots of history. We have made it a summer tradition.

“Gangster”
Reviewed September 4, 2012

The Gangster museum was very cool. I had no idea about the history of Hot Springs before this vacation. The museum was very informative of the lives that some people had in this town 90-100 years ago.

“Interesting history”
Reviewed September 3, 2012

It was a good historical look at gangsters in Hot Springs, but lacked some of the more exciting aspects of the gangster era. If you are searching for a look at the violence and seediness of the times, you might be disappointed as the view is largely historical and not geared toward the scenes one often thinks of when talking about gangsters (Valentines massacre). Fun layout with artifacts, videos and guide. Leave the kids home, it's kind of slow for them.

“gangster museum”
Reviewed September 3, 2012

The tour was very informative and alot of it included videos. It included alot of history on the gangsters who spent time in hot springs. I would not reccomend bringing children because the ones on the tour with us were very bored and fidgety. If you want to learn some history, this is the place to visit.

“Interested in a little history....”
Reviewed August 16, 2012

The tour guide was very knowledgeable. Most of this tour was actual video and was very interesting. My tour also had a live piano show with singing by the owner. The word "museum" is a bit misleading, not alot on display here, but well worth the money to learn the history of this unique town.
