It's startling how professionally done this performance is, given the rural nature of the community. It's a long performance, but well worth it. Small kids beware of live cannon/riffle shot noises during battle scenes.

Under picturesque skies of Southern Ohio, the life of Tecumseh comes alive. Galloping horses, roaring cannons, Indian raids and his love for a white woman all unveils. The action is fast and the excitement is great. The drama is well worth the trip no matter where you live. Also available is a sit down dinner in the dining pavilon before the show. There is also a great gift shop. This was a added touch to my visit to the Hermitage earlier in the summer.

Thanks for taking a moment to let us know how much you enjoyed your experience here at the theatre! We were all thrilled to hear how much you enjoyed the buffet dinner and gift shop. We have worked hard over the past couple of years to create something very special that would create lasting memories for our patrons and it sounds like, in your case at least, we hit the nail on the head! We hope that the rest of your vacation was just as enjoyable and we look forward to seeing you on a future trip to Southern Ohio!

This is a play on an outdoor stage, tells the story of the great Shawnee chief, Tecumseh. Using real horses, firearms and even a cannon, you'll never see a play like this in a theater. A Broadway caliber show on an scale impossible to see anywhere else.

In spite of a great deal of solo dialog, the scenery and exciting scenes are worth the trip. The buffet is nothing special, but it is convenient. Don't miss the gift shop. I found some nice things.
You can only sit in the back if you are handicapped. Access is down a steep ramp to stadium seating. I was able to hear everything OK.
