“Good beach, good food, good service and quiet”
Reviewed December 6, 2012

The location is super with every room having the amazing view. The staff are wonderful; always helpful. The only negative for me was the price of the food which was quite expensive. The food is good but it would have been great to be able to get cheaper meals sometimes. Quy Nhon is some distance from the resort - several Vietnamese families went out to restaurants they knew to get good local food. I treated myself to some massages and a facial which were pricey for Vietnam but glorious.

this is a very beautiful hotel with a fantastic pool, a great beach and huge rooms. highly recommended for some days to unwind since there is not much too see around.

pros:
very pretty, huge rooms, great pool, beautiful beach, very friendly service and very clean. fantastic breakfast!

cons:
food is a bit too expensive (for vietnam) and the town is far away. to give you an idea - for a very standard meal (2 main courses, 2 beers) you will pay around 20-30 usd. if you go big (addd starters and a bottle of wine) you easily end up paying 60-90 usd. a taxi to town is around 10 usd one way. the aircon blows on the bed but this can be controlled with the curtains around the bed. the laundry service is expensive and there is no place outside to do laundry.

tips: take a taxi to town and go to aroma - we loved this place with their great bbq style food. and with the taxi you pay the same as in the hotel

Spent a wonderful and relaxing 3 night here with our 2 teenagers. Enjoyed the beach and pool, made use of all the facillities including beach volley ball ( but maybe should not have played in the middle of the day). The rooms were magnificant with ocean views. The fishing village at the end of the beach was worth a trip ( especially to restock the 333 ). The breakfasts were huge and dinners delicious, the staff all very friendly. Also enjoyed the spa treatments.
Wish we were still there living the high life

Whilst this was the first time we had been to the hotel and consequently were devoid of a benchmark, as opposed to the previous reviewer), we decided to stay a second night due the location and friendliness of the resort staff.

We, too, agree that a junior suite is not necessary - we had a deluxe (from memory) on the top floor facing the ocean - the four poster beds, shower, balcony & amenities were superb, and I am quite a picky girl! The restaurant was beautiful and the food incredible - delicious and perfectly presented - and whilst there was no buffet breakfast available, the three courses served to each guest were too much I felt (in a positive way)!

Whilst I felt the service was fantastic generally, this was put to the test when my partner, whose motorbike had broken down in the township (15 minutes drive away) was not home after 6 hours at 7pm on our second evening, after spending the day at the mechanic. Whilst I am sure the poor resort staff were not equipped to deal with an hysterical female, not only did they calm me down and offer for one of the staff to accompany me into town, they actually decided they would instead contact a member of staff OFF DUTY who lived in the town to try to locate the mechanic at which my partner had last been seen. After much effort on the part of the employee, she found the mechanic, who informed them my partner had just left to head back to the resort on the broken bike.

If that wasnt enough, Nam, one of the concierge team, personally assisted us to purchase train tickets the following day to send our bike back to Ho Chi Minh city and for us to travel onto Da Nang.

The only downer was that we were unable to utilise our complimentary spa treatments due to the unending hassles with the bike.

Rest assured, we will be back to take those up!

10/10 team, everything was absolutely perfect. Wish we could have stayed for a week.

Tanya and James :)

PS - NAM, you are amazing and we are so grateful for your help :)

Room Tip: Top floor deluxe facing the beach - heaven.

Great location and spot and infrastructure as far as beach hotels go.
Little disappointed as we were there 5 years ago and it was awesome all round.
Service was not great and what little staff they had struggled to understand English.
No breakfast buffet so ordering of a menu
Hotel wasn't full but still service was slow and delayed due to lack of staff.
Food I must say was still very good and well presented.
Rooms were big and comfortable and all sea facing.
5 years ago this was a top end hotel but unfortunately has slipped in my books to a 3 star due to the neglect of management with service and staff allocation per guest.
Awesome and quiet beach with 2 big islands right in front of hotel beach.

Room Tip: Would not bother going for a junior suite as double rooms almost the same size and all sea facing.

The welcome to this resort started off a fabulous few days holiday for us. We were greeted with a delicious sugarcane and lemongrass drink with nice wet towels to cool us down, then shown to our beautiful rooms. Felt a bit like a celebrity! The rooms even SMELL nice. We could see the beach from our shower and in the evening, could sit out on the balcony watching the fishermen out on the ocean with their lights and torches, prawning and squidding under the water. The food here is amazing (though a bit pricey) and they cater for all types of food allergies or other requirements. Their pina coladas are pretty darned good, too. This was the 'special' part of our trip, so we spoiled ourselves to a few treatments at the spa - the double hot stone massage being the highlight of this. We didn't swim in the ocean much due to the wind, though it looked nice and clean. The pool was lovely and we spent a lot of time there! I would recommend attending any of the bbq buffets in the evenings - the caramelised fish in banana leaves is something I won't forget in a hurry. If you get a chance to purchase any of the rosella tea they sell at the resort - buy it. I have not been able to find anything even close to the taste of that particular type since. This would be a great place for families or even for a honeymoon.

Room Tip: I would try to get one of the villas directly on the beach.

Just perfectly located between Hoi An and Nha Trang, great small resort with a beatiful private beach, great service and food, we would definitely stay there again. The beach was the nicest we have been to in Vietnam
