“Delicious traditional street food in Quy Nhon”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 21, 2013

If you are looking to try the local traditional Vietnamese food, avoid the typical tourist trap restaurants but are afraid to eat in street food stalls due to a possible lack of hygiene, try
Bun Thit Nuong.

It's a small restaurant in Quy Nhon owned by Vui a very friendly young lad who lived in the US and opened this restaurant a few years ago (needless to say his English is very good). You will easily recognize it if you pass by for the big fish tank they have in the back. Its not far from the beach and you will bump into a big Buddhist pagoda on the way. If you are looking for the classic big restaurant with waiters and a menu in English etc... It's not the place for you.

Their specialty is Bun Thit Nuong, local Vietnamese rice noodles (made fresh daily, not the cheap dry ones you see in asian supermarkets) served cold with delicious grilled meat and special sauce which gives the name to the Restaurant.
You should also try their home made spring rolls with peanut sauce, they are huge! and to top it off, the most expensive item on the menu is only 30,000VND (less than $1.50).
Give a try, you won't be disappointed.

“Great food!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 19, 2013

This great street restaurant serves a local Quy Nhon speciality called Bun Thit Nuong (Rice noodles with Grilled Meat). Its a delicious noodle dish of grilled meat with fresh vegetables and herbs and a special peanut based sauce. It also serves Bahn Cuon which is the same ingredients wrapped in rice paper and dipped in the delicious peanut sauce. You have to try it!

“A Tasty Connection.”

This is a great little local place with a refreshingly good English speaking owner. Better and easier than street food and much easier to order! I enjoyed my lunch and interesting conversation. A nice gift for an American exploring this city alone.

“A local specialty”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 2, 2013

Bun Barbecue is a dish that locals often eat in the evening. This dish is made from roast beef, baked rolls, and baked rolls (a local specialty). Great taste.
