We just back home after a great and relaxing weekend in swimming pool and spa
Room and facilities are perfect, just give 4 stars because not so many choice of food. As International hotel they must have at least one European or Japanese restaurant.
Anyway, If you do not have so much time and want to enjoy a great weekend it is really one of the best choice. It is also very close to beach sea side with a lot of surfers enjoy the the wind wave !!!

i stayed in this hotel July last year, and it was a wonderful, lavish experience. the room was spacious with a mountain view, huge bathtub - hotspring style, breakfast was plenty of choices.
most interesting was spa area with several different kind of pools you can enjoy! they even have fish spa pool! the food was also nice and great. on the last day there me my friends were heading to town to do some shopping and the hotel provide a car to take us and even pick us back to the hotel! sooo nice!

I stayed at the hotel with my family, including a baby, in June. The service was fantastic throughout - the staff were helpful and attentive. The hotel room was spacious. The pool facilities were well maintained and with a very high standard. Both dinner and breakfast were with great varieties. The hotel even provided a pair of chidren-size slippers for the baby, needless to mention a lovely baby bed. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone who would like a hot-spring holiday!

Our family of four (including a baby) stayed one night at this wonderful resort and definitely have plans to return.

The room was huge. Two queen-sized beds! The kids loved the beautiful sunk in bath tub.

The spa area was just so interesting. Several different pools feature different water temperatures and different kinds of spa water. They even had a fish spa pool where little fish nibble on your feet's dead skin. Absolutely fun.The outdoor heated pool was also very nice.

Not forgetting the many recreational facilities and activities for both adults and kids. They had playrooms for kids, internet, video games etc.

Special commendation to the extremely friendly and helpful staff. Helpful young staff were stationed at all corners of the spa ready to render assistance and fetch towels. The restaurant staff were also first class.

We definitely have plans to return to this wonderful resort. My advise would be to stay at least 2-3 days to fully enjoy and relax.

I stayed in Evergreen Resort in late Dec 2011 with my family. All of us enjoyed the hotel and we recommend for anyone who wishes to have a relaxing time and spa getaway.

Although it was only a night stay (due to our hectic round Taiwan tour package), we thoroughly enjoyed the hotel. We stayed at 6 hotels in our 8 nights round Taiwan Tour. Evergreen Resort is the Hotel that gave us the most memorable experience. Well Done, Evergreen Resort.

Hotel Room (EXCELLENT)
10/10
-Nothing negative to comment. Very New and impeccably clean. Well done.

TV Programme (GOOD)
7/10
- Good variety. Will be good if more English programme channels (such as CNN, channel newsasia etc) can be included.

Hot Spring in the Room Toilet (Sunken Bath Tub) (EXCELLENT)
10/10
- Big and Clean Bath Tub, good water temperature, able to accommodate two persons in the Tub

Hotel Room Items (EXCELLENT)
10/10
-Very Good toiletries. PThe bath robes and slippers are for the hotel guests' keepsake and souvenirs.

Breakfast (VERY GOOD)
9/10
-Fantastic spread.

Buffet Dinner (VERY GOOD)
9/10
-Excellent spread and good quality food. Well done.

Staff Attitude (GOOD)
8/10
- Not much interaction due to the short stay. But overall very comfortable.

Overall Experience (VERY GOOD- NEAR PERFECT)

Iwould love to go back to this hotel again if there is an opportunity in the near future.
Hope the hotel will upkeep its quality and amenities.

To the Hotel GM and Staff.....Thank you for the nice and memorable stay.

Stayed here for one night and we had a family suite.
Room: 2 big beds. One is queen size bed and the other one either is king or California king size bed. The mattress is very firm. The room stocks tea, coffee, snacks and has few soft drinks in the fridge (all is free). The room also has slipper which is also yours to take and I think that is a nice touch. Bathroom is nice and clean. It has separate shower and bath area which you can enjoy the hot spring in the room. Overall, the room is spacious, modern, and clean.

Food: We bought the package, so we ate Breakfast and dinner in the hotel at 2nd floor. Both breakfast and dinner are buffet style. Selection of food is sufficient but not elaborate compare to other places. Overall, I enjoy the food but my major complaint is that I find their food tend to be cold or just barely warm for some of the dishes.

Location: this hotel is not tucked away in the mountain. It is an easy walk (may be 10 minutes) to close to the train station where has lots food choices.

This was absolutely one of the best hotels I have been to, it was the capstone to my first visit in Taiwan. Though Yilan is a distance away from the Capital - Taipei as the Taoyuan airport, the travel to this very nice resort location famous for their hot springs was well worth it. The hotel was very new, with the hotel staff very nice and accommodating. The room was really great with a huge bed - I was wishing I had my family with me. I tried the hotel food from the breakfast buffet, lunch as well as dinner and the food was really great. Do try the hotel's "fish spa" and the hot springs. This hotel would be a great family holiday destination as they offer a lot of leisure activities even for the kids. They also lend bicycles for you to go around exlporing the area. There are also local shops near the hotel selling great tasting foodstuffs at a very good price. Communicating with the locals could be a challenge, though as most do not speak English, even in the capital - Taipei.
