Arrived at hotel with our prepaid agoda confirmation, only to find out that they do not accept agoda bookings due to a payment issue they have with agoda.

Owner could not help us, as they were fully booked via booking.com. They should make sure their agoda website is closed (you can still use it to book!), as I cannot possibly know now they have an issue with agoda!

Cannot comment on hotel, as we did not stay there, but was very inconvenient to have to find a new place in the evening.

-the owner and his wife are very nice and helpful, and they speak English very well
-the owner provides lots of useful information and is able to arrange trips
-comfortable room, good mattress and nice facilities

-a bit out of town, but we knew that. It's a 30 min stroll of which you can also walk a part through the horse racetrack

The great thing about accommodations in Sri Lanka is majority of them are guest houses, and a few small hotels, and because of this we were able to directly support local business owners. Everywhere we stayed we had breakfast included – it was both convenient and delicious. The hosts were always flexible on offering continental or local breakfast options.

The hosts are what made our stay in Sri Lanka both comfortable and memorable. They were always aiming to accommodate your needs, making sure you were as comfortable as you can be with what they have to offer – they have been great examples of the wonderful hospitality you hear about in Sri Lanka. They (along with the Tuk Tuk drivers) are also a wealth of information, don’t underestimate them, and feel free to ask about anything and everything.

The room was comfortable, clean, and had its own shower with hot water. Breakfast was continental and delicious. The Wi-Fi here was also great, especially in the living room of the guest house. The hostess was extremely nice and welcoming! The hotel is located within walking distance from the main part of the town. To get to the main attractions, you have to take a Tuk Tuk, which is convenient to do.

We stayed two nights here and enjoyed the hospitality of the owners Lalinda and Kasheena (sorry if spelling's wrong!). Lalinda studied hotel management in Singapore and this shows in the professional way the Blue Wing is presented and managed. It's very clean , breakfast is more than ample and the evening meals were delicious. The Blue Wing is approx. 1.5 km from the town centre but that's just 5 mins. by tuktuk and the great advantage is that it's quite and peaceful at night .In terms of value for money the BWI is hard to beat and we'd certainly stay there again .

Setting foot in Nuwara Eliya you can't help take in the lush greenery and tea estates that surround it. In all this Blue wing inn is perched quaintly in Bonavista the reaching the property can be a little difficult but the views and owner & his family definitely make up for the little discomfort (The is a direct bus from the central bus station).

The rooms are clean and have running hot water (in the cold climate of Nuwara Eliya this was really amazing). Each room has opens into a veranda which has some of the most amazing views of Adams's peak and the city.

The hosts are what makes this places amazing. They are warm and simply amazing and went out of the way to make my stay super comfortable right from arranging my Horton plains visit to lifts to the city center.

Overall had an amazing stay and would definitely recommend anyone to stay here
