We were there for 1 night only but what a night! The manager is a really nice man, really warm and welcoming: he even let us come in the kitchen to learn how to cook a real chicken curry and its vegetables! The villa is near the heart of the city but far enough to be in the calm of the mountain so no noise from the road. The room was big and clean same for the bathroom. I forgot a len from my camera over there so they manage to send it back to me on the road!
One if not our favorite place in Sri Lanka!
I hope to come back soon!

We stayed here for 2 nights in December 2013. The owner and the staff of this holiday home are just beautiful. The food was amazing and was made according to our taste buds (not too hot). We were even allowed to go into the kitchen and watch while the cook made dinner so that we could learn how to make the dishes when we got home. We were travelling with 2 kids and when my 4 year old son asked for pappadums one night - the owner swiftly made him some even though we said not to bother. Rooms were clean and tidy. Bathrooms had just been renovated. Was such a lovely place to stay. Would definitely recommend for others and would stay again if we returned to Sri Lanka.

My wife and I stayed here in Jan on our way through Nuwara Eliya and Horton Plains. This is a new guest house which is why it hasn't been reviewed much yet. I would definitely stay here again if i was ever back in Nuwara Eliya, the owner went out of his way to make our stay easy and enjoyable. The place is a short walk from town in a nice old house with renovated bathrooms, clean and tidy with friendly staff which is all one really needs. Great customer service and when you didn't need anything you could just relax without being bothered. Keep up the good work Sriya Paya Villa! Sorry i'm not a big camera man and didn't take any pictures while i was there.
