Lovely building, great room, very helpful staff, central location. Average breakfast of fresh fruit which was good, an omelette which was okay and toast which was like the nimble diet bread from 30 years ago, served cold and brittle. Didn't have evening meal at hotel for this reason so can't comment. Opposite a school so be prepared for lots of noise early if that isn't in your plans-loud music until lateish on Saturday evening and then the temple calls at 5.30 on Sunday morning. Didn't bother us but you should be aware. Only one dressing gown in room and towels not changed on second morning. Good wifi in room if that's an issue.

This is a recently renovated old colonial building. It's new so the service is still learning but staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are large and comfortable but they suffer from occasional power cuts by the local electricity board. There's a pleasant area out front where you can sit and enjoy a sundowner… but you must bring your own drink because they don't have a licence.
It's an easy walk to the sites of the golf club and a bit further to the Hill Club and the Gregory Lake.
The restaurant was good but rather quiet. There is a very popular Indian restaurant a 10 min walk away.

The location of this converted colonial house is beautiful. The house is amazing and the rooms were large and very clean. The bathroom was a little cold due to the slate floors and there wasn't a light in the shower and so it felt like you were taking a shower in the dark. The power did go off in the night too but apparently this is common in the area.

The staff were great. Very friendly and did their best to ensure of stay was comfortable. It felt like we were staying with a good friend.

This small bungalow has only been open a few weeks and they are exceptionally friendly and try very hard. The grounds were well maintained and nice to relax in and there is a small games room with board games, badminton for use outside etc. We were a group of 7 people, taking 3 of their 6/7 rooms and I think they found the group size difficult to deal with. The rooms are large and comfortable, but I found them a little damp smelling. The hot water was only enough for one shower, so very frustrating for a family of three. The food tasted great, but the buffet was cold, which let it down. Breakfast for 7 was a clear challenge as the chef cooked eggs one person at a time, so it literally took 45 minutes for them to serve everyone and the eggs, beans (stone cold from the tin) and sausage were served at different times and the orders were mixed up, despite having ordered the night before so we could make a quick getaway in the morning. This place has a lot of potential, but needs more staff training and better organisation, which I guess will come with more experience. It's probably better for couples but for families or groups, it's not great. As I said though, the staff tried very very hard and that certainly made it a more enjoyable experience and it was easier to tolerate the poor service, in fact at times it became quite amusing!
