This temple en route to Nuwara Eliya is run by Chinmaya Mission. Its a simple temple but not be missed. Located on higher elevation it has some great views. And not be missed in the Vegeterian restaurant Annapurni which doles out some amazing pure Vegeterian food at reasonable prices.

Dont miss this at any cost.

This is a fairly new temple, from what I understand, maybe 4 years old. It's kept very clean.

This is supposed to be the place that Hanuman rested, en route to tell Rama where Sita was kept captive.

Be sure to wear long pants, and sleeved tops when entering this temple. Otherwise, you can buy a dhoti out front.

The view surrounding this temple is breath-taking, and there's an Annapurna's restaurant where you can have a tasty veg meal, before setting off again.

If you ever visit Nuwara Eliya but intend to give this place a miss, think again. This site has history, beauty, spirituality and magnificence all intertwined at one place. The temple is located at the side of the road linking Kandy and Nuwara Eliya.
The temple opens and closes at certain times of the day for the poojas. Please check with the guides before planning your visit. From the temple, the beauty of the valley below is truly invigorating. And there is a huge Hanuman deity in the temple and it is not to be missed.
If you're hungry, there is the Annapoorni vegetarian restaurant next to the temple. We didn't have lunch there, but got ourselves some delicious laddus, and you should too, when you get there........

This is supposed to be the place where Lord Hanuman first landed in Sri Lanka from India. It is really nice maintained and has good vibrations. A must go for everyone and mostly all Hindus or Hanuman devoties.

A clean temple, high on the mountain but motorable, foot marks of Hanuman mus be seen. The outside façade is exquisite.
