Walking through Horton's Plains and trekking to the World's End was a super experience. The view was awesome. We had a wonderful trip. The elks, Bakers waterfalls, stream, colourful birds and the rolling hills made it much more enjoyable.

Passing through the Horton Plains national park is very pleasant. You can see healthy grown elk looking at you. The walk down to the worlds end is a nice experience through the stunted forest. On your way you can go down to the stream to enjoy the water falls. On a clear day you can see up to the southern coast otherwise the Non Peryl tea estate down below.

This is one of the most beautiful hikes that I have ever done. The look out over the world's end looks alot like Machu Picchu. This was a highlight of our Sri Lanka leg of the trip. Make sure to leave Kandy by 6am for great views.

This is a must see, not just for the scenery but the lushous ecology and unique varities of vegetation and wild life. The treaking is not for the feable or faint at heart, however tennable with persivuarance and patience. If you visit central SriLanka this should be # 1 on your "bucket" list for central part of the island.

Great place for the scenery although the walking was very difficult as it was rocky and uneven for a large part of one of the routes. Unfortunately, our guide failed to mention this to us and at one point my Mum actually fell.

The shroud of mist makes for very dramatic scenery, however, it also means that you can't see much when you reach the top!

Bakers Fall is very beautiful - worth the trip although some steep steps in the forest to get there so may be difficult for some people to climb.
