Amazing scenery and well worth the trek across Horton Plains to get here. Need to arrive by mid morning to see the views before the mist rolls in.

Do not be disappointed if all you see at the World's End is fog. Nonetheless, the visit to and walk round Horton Plains is great particularly if you are a bird watcher. Some of the terrain is not for those who are not physically able.

Its a must at least once in your life, have to walk about 9km, only problem is some of the places are deathtraps as the soil has got washed off, should go in a group as there is no T'phone signals from the top in an emergency.A very tiring trip but worth it as the view is breathtaking, remember to take a rain coat or umbrella as u can experience un expected rain & there is no shelter anywhere, luckily we did not encounter any rain or mist.

The walk around Horton Plains is 7 kms on rugged territory. One should be in good physical condition to take this hike. A person expired the same morning that we were there (9th Feb 2013). The view from Worlds End is great. Also see Baker's Fall on the same route.

The hike is nice and have a look for the white eye and rhino horned lizard. You have to start very early in the morning if you would like to have a few at world's end but also the waterfall is very nice. It is also impressive with clouds.
