“Sitamata Kovil”
Reviewed January 6, 2013

Well we saw hanuman a footprints marked in yellow. The structure is a very old temple and the story goes that Ravan held Sita captive at the place where the temple was built. The temple is very close to Gregory park.

“Fascinating place steeped in fabled history”
Reviewed December 27, 2012

It is a small temple which has it's own beauty. The setting is wonderful.

After seeing Hanuman's footprints you feel like you've just lived through an extremely important part of that one mythological story almost every Indian has been listening to throughout his/her childhood years.

Having a look around doesn't take much time and you would be done within 20-30 minutes.

The floor was very very cold even at around 10 in the morning. To get to see the footprints of Lord Hanuman was a pleasure. We conducted a short pooja there. Enjoyed the setting!!!
