We came here with high expectations having read a very favourable review in Lonely Planet.
Unfortunately, the food is disappointingly average. While you will undoubtedly be tempted by the dazzling buffet, we do not recommend it. The individual dishes are not well executed, some overcooked, some bland, and the desserts taste like ready made products from a supermarket. The house wine was rancid and to be avoided at all costs. The ala carte items are also of the average variety. For all the sizzling that accompanies the sea food platter, most of the items are overcooked and not entirely fresh.
If however you are not too concerned about the food and would like a nice place to unwind over a drink, then by all means visit the Old Course Restaurant. One can also spend time at the adjacent bar which has a comforting fire place, live music, and if you must check your blackberry, strong wifi.
