We went here with high expectations. The food is not interesting at all. The 'fusion of Asian and Western food is a faux. If you're boring and one of those people who like their routine meals and don't like to try cuisines from the country they visit then this is for you. Boring and average.

Good variety of local and international food. Not much of a service although very prompt when help is needed. Big dining area, so it tends to reduce the cosiness of the place overall.

We spent one evening in the restaurant in dec 2013 as a young couple.
How impressive to discover that even in the middle of Sri Lanka you can find such a panel of taste and world cuisine. We had the 3000 roupies buffet, which seems to be common in holiday season. With approximately 15 starters, 20 main courses and 2 live cookers for wok and grilled fish, it was very hard to find room for everything. But how tasty it was! Whether you are into european or asian food or even a subtle fusion of Both for some dishes, you are guaranteed to find something marvelous.
The staff was very kind and provided a high leveled service.

Inside the old colonial St. Andrew's Hotel, this was a good option in a town without many options!

The cocktail bar and lounge made for a cool location for a pre-dinner drink in a comfortable chair surrounded by graffiti-covered walls and even a crackling fireplace. The restaurant itself is a little more formal and classic colonial...without being stuffy or requiring a dress code (as some places in town do require!!!).

Actually, the lounge was so relaxed that we decided to stay there for the meal. The food was tasty, the drinks were cold and we enjoyed it.
