We had naans and butter chicken for lunch here . Butter chicken was life a tomato curry .. We didn't enjoy at all . However naans and lasi drinks were good .. Prices quite expensive reason may be thus Restaurent is run by Grand Hotel .. Situated in the grand hotel road

Great food, the service was really good the the prices were average. Do not order the thali meals as it was not worth , order the side dishes since they give a free portion of Naan/rice..

Small Indian restaurant, connected to The Grand Hotel. Go there for Thali.

It's well priced, but can get busy, so perhaps book in advance for the evening.

The place serves excellent tasty food, but then alas, you must be able to stomach the snooty snobbery of the Manager. His main persuit is to serve foreign guests, and has a love to ignore locals.

I wonder how he behaves during the off season?

I'm at the Grand Indian now. We ordered Tandoori Chicken and Chicken Curry along with Mulagatawny Soup. All were good though a bit on the spicy side. The value comes in because you get a big Tandoori Nan or Rice along with every dish. It was good except that they should have more tandoori items like fish or prawns. Recommended.
