Don't expect any "wow" factor from the food. Its flavor is basic, but basically, thats how Pier one's food taste like, be it in Cebu's two branches or those in Manila. Pier one is more known for their ambiance, where they have both airconditioned dining area and al fresco areas. They have live band entertainment, sometimes good, sometimes not so good. Drinks are popular, especially their beer.
Pier one parkmall's ambience is very unique in Cebu, and that is a major selling point because of the cool breeze that commonly prevails at night (there is also a pier one in Ortigas Home Depot in Manila with the same infrastructure, but you breathe in Manila air which is not that great). Also, they have unique choices of live seafood, like jumbo prawns (occasional), live pampano, and diwal, a kind of shellfish that is supplied all the way from panay or negros I think.
