My husband and I had part of our honeymoon here, it was the most magnificent and wonderful place I've ever experienced!

Every aspect felt luxurious. Staff were welcoming, accommodating and friendly. Activities (while a bit pricey) were well staffed and worth it. I would especially recommend the snorkel safari with the resident marine biologist.

We stayed in a water villa with jacuzzi which was simply gorgeous. The jetties to the beach were simply swimming with fish and we got to see black tip reef sharks regularly.

The food was excellent, though I would definitely suggest the select all inclusive so that you can take advantage of the wonderful restaurants.

Really pleased we selected Kuramathi-would go back in a heartbeat!

We went here on our Honeymoon. We opted for the fully inclusive plus which allowed us to eat in all of the restaurants. I highly recommend this as you may tire of the same restaurant. It was outstanding in every way. The service is top class the food amazing. We went in late May and opted for a deluxe villa with the jacuzzi. We thought about going more expensive and getting the villa on stilts but we were actually happier with the villa we chose as the location was about 30 feet from the sea. The island is incredibly clean, the staff were all very accommodating and friendly but kept their distance at the same time to allow you to really enjoy the paradise that is Kuramathi island. We would love to return to the island some day. I wanted to add there also seemed to be a limited amount of people on the island so at times we had the beach completely to ourselves. The most people we had on the beach near us was two other couples and they were still about a hundred feet away. If you are in a dilemma to spend the money then go for it you will not be disappointed! : )

Room Tip: Opt for the all inclusive plus package as it allows you to eat in all the restaurants.

This resort was out of this world. The island was small but you felt like you were the only people on it, the service from staff was fantastic. Great food with lots of choice for all meals, plenty of drinks to choose from, fabulous cocktail menu. Snorkling around the island is a must do, plenty of tropical fish and we also saw sharks which was great. A walk upto the top of the island is a must, great for photos. We had a amazing honeymoon here, definately going back.

Room Tip: Beach villa is great, outside shower is amazing.

My husband & I had so much fun at Kuramathi Island Resort, we stayed at Water Villas with Jacuzzi. It was very peaceful, we snorkeled everyday, it's a wonderful place for honeymoon. The beach was amazingly clear and clean, the staff are really friendly and helpful. Great recommendation for honeymoon. We have a pleasant time. Hope to be there again in the future!

We went to Kuramathi in August and stayed in a deluxe beach villa near the sand bank. We were with our teenage boys (13 &15) and stayed select all inclusive which was perfect. It meant the boys could have lunch, ice-cream and drinks when they wanted without worry. The ice creams and cocktails are worth this alone! Delicious. I am Gluten free and once you have informed reception all the staff are very helpful - they would adapt menu and tell me what I could eat. Also got Gluten free bread at breakfast. All the staff were very friendly and helpful, waiters aqua sports and gardeners. The boys loved the aqua sports and swimming pool. The snorkelling was great - but by the channels on the house reef side, unless you are a very strong swimmer I would recommend using a life vest, as this was easier and could snorkel for longer. Need one bottle of DEET insect repellent per 2 people per week.
We ate at palm and island Coffee shop or lunch and varied our evenings. All were good, boys like BBQ (steak Diane) best! We liked Duniye as lovely food and quiet atmosphere.
There is a regular mini bus to take you to the ends of island, which we mostly were able to use when we needed it - it was lovely walking around island and didn't take too long. Sting ray feeding good too.
