DD Ubud Villas has one of the most lovely & tranquil settings I have been to in a while. It is charmingly rustic with wooden bungalows, indoor/outdoor bathroom, mosquito netting etc. It is a perfect romantic getaway for couples or for those who seek a place to relax and watch the world go by. Be warned there are lots of stairs so not for those with mobility issues. But Julie and the rest of the staff are friendly, respectful and helpful.

Room tip: Ask for a bungalow near reception if you struggle with stairs.

its just so simple but memorable . my memories start here

My daughter and I stayed here for 4 nights and loved our wooden villa. The setting was gorgeous-literally surrounded by green palms and lush foliage and we had the infinity pool just outside and our own private balcony where breakfast was served daily. The bed was comfortable and our bathroom was amazing. Definitely different than the usual USA type. Covered but outside large stone tub, a sink, toilet and then an open to the sky but private shower in a garden setting. It had great hot water with nice pressure! The staff was super pleasant and willing to help. We got 2 massages added in to our stay and the ladies stayed for an hour (we thought it was 1/2 hour!). Breakfasts were fine, but not extraordinary. Omelets, or scrambled or poached eggs with 2 pieces of toast and a fresh juice and A cup of coffee. We asked for an extra cup the last day as we enjoyed our balcony/porch one last time and were charged for the 2 cups. AC was great, WIFI pretty good and free. Could have had an extra towel or wash cloth. Overall, we would totally come back and LOVED this beautiful and hospitable small resort. Location was so nice outside of congested Ubud and fun scootering around the lovely backroads-rice fields, coffee farms, etc!

Room tip: We loved the wooden villa just a bit more than the bamboo-nicer!

I came her with my wife for our first wedding anniversary. I arranged a couples massage and a wonderful special dinner surprise for my wife. It was beautiful. Our room was incredible, as was our view as we ate breakfast on our balcony. The pool was lovely. A perfect place to get away from it all. They do rent scooters if you want to get around to rice fields or central Ubud. Hugely Recommended! Beware thought, that as this is in the jungle, there are pretty crazy sounds at time. It added to the fun for us....expect for one annoying bird haha
