Owner description: Nominated for designation as a UNESCO World Heritage site, Jatiluwih offers a beautiful view of contoured rice terraces irrigated using an impressive communal water system developed by Balinese farmers. The scenic drive through the quaint villages and verdant slopes of the central coastal regency of Tabanan adds to the experience.

Looking on TA about all the ‘thing to do’ on Bali and finding out that the Jatiluwih rice fields are way to fare down in the index. So decided I have to write a review about it. We (me and my wife) have visited the Jatiluwih rice fields the end of Ocotober 2010 and it was absolutely gorgeous.

We are so fortunate to stay on Bali for 10-months therefore we will definitely come back to show the Jatiluwih rice fields to our friends when they come and visit. They are not only very big, they are just perfect and thereby one of the must thing to do on Bali. If you love nature and culture you cannot leave Bali without a visit to these beautiful rice fields. You can hike through them and see the locals do their job, maybe even help a bit :-), but it is also possible to drive through them and see them from your car or scooter. From the Kuta-Seminyak area it will a two-hour drive and there are even some signs, so it is not that hard to find.

So to conclude go to please go to Jatiluwih if you are on Bali!!!
